Pepsi, Coca-Cola, McDonald’s, Starbucks and General Electric joined other international companies on Tuesday to sever their business endeavors in Russia due to the invasion of Ukraine. Joe Biden subsequently announced a ban on Russian oil and other energy imports. The ban on Russian oil is expected to drive up US energy and gas prices for Americans.
