When you see the cover and title of this book many thoughts about what this book could be come to mind. Does it encourage readers to become apathetic or lazy? Does it encourage people to detach from all things and everyone? To just completely let go? Who really knows…

Well, this book is hardly that… which is why it’s an interesting and counterintuitive read.
The book encourages people to choose their fucks wisely because we all only have so many fucks to give. The brain can literally handle only so many fucks until it decides to not give a fuck. The author encourages readers to focus on their priorities and goals and don’t sweat the small stuff. He goes on to elaborate on the following topics:
- Principles > Feeling good
- Acceptance
- Value recognition
- Choosing the right problems
- How to use failures as fuel
- The definition of “success”
- Choosing your battles
- Becoming solution oriented
- Killing the old you
- Keeping an open mind
- Be yourself vs. Bettering yourself
- Taking action
- Importance of arguments and rejections
As you can see, the book is an actual personal development book, and not a book that encourages you to live like the Big Lebowski… but that’s just my opinion, man.

If you are interested in reading this book, but you happen to not give a fuck about staring at a dead tree and hallucinating for a few hours, you can “watch the book” over at Mentorbox in little under 1 hour for a cost cheaper than the book itself.
