Fact-checkers assert that a clip from Digital Combat Simulator has been miscaptioned on social media. The clip does not show a Ukrainian fighter jet shooting down Russian planes. Multiple social media users have been claiming the simulation combat plane is a fighter known as “the Ghost of Kyiv,”

The Ukrainian military said on Feb. 24 that five Russian planes and a Russian helicopter were shot down in the Luhansk region. It has not been confirmed that a single Ukrainian pilot shot down the aircrafts, however,” Reuters reports.
